Bleeding Risk Index

Independent Risk Factors:
- Comorbid conditions (eg serious cardiac illness, renal insufficiency, poor general conditions)
- Concomitant use of heparin
- INR level
- Worsening liver dysfunction

Controlling these independent risk factors will reduce their associated risk of bleeding
